Are all your plants pet safe?

About half of what we grow is non-toxic to cats and dogs. Every plant page carries a Pet safe badge when it applies, and you can filter the shop by 'Pet safe' to see just those.

Where do your plants come from?

Almost every plant is propagated in our Hanover nursery from our own mother plants. The few we don’t grow ourselves come from named small farms in Ontario and Quebec. We list the source on the product page.

Question 3

My plant arrived stressed. What now?

Accepted Answer

Travel can do that. Unpack right away, give it a sunny (not direct) spot, leave watering alone for 48 hours, and write us. Most plants bounce back within a week. If yours doesn't, send your order number and clear photos so we can take a look. If it was on us, we'll make it right.

Will you tell me what plant I have?

Yes, please. Snap a photo, send it via Ask Jungle or hello@myjungleroots.ca, and Shatti will get back to you within a day.

Question 5

When will my order ship?

We try to ship plants every Monday (if a shipping Monday falls on a holiday, your order ships on the next available shipping day) so they spend as little time as possible sitting in transit over a weekend. Order by 11:59pm Saturday to make that Monday's shipment.

Question 6

Do you ship to my province?

Accepted Answer

We ship anywhere in Canada, mostly with UPS. Delivery time depends on where you are, and rural addresses take a little longer. No international shipping just yet.

Question 7

What about winter?

During the cold months, when winter shipping is on, we add a $10 surcharge that covers a heat pack and insulation. If the weather turns severe, we may hold your order until it's safe for the plant.

Question 8

Can I pick up in Hanover?

Absolutely. Choose ‘Pickup’ at checkout and skip the shipping charge. We’ll email you when your order is ready, and we hold orders 3 to 5 days. Need longer? Just let us know.

What if it doesn’t make it?

Send us your order number and clear photos right away. We'll take a look at what happened, and if it was on us, we'll make it right.

Question 10

Can I return a plant just because?

Plants aren’t returnable like sweaters. Once it’s in your home, it’s yours. But if there’s a real problem (sick, mislabeled, damaged) talk to us. We’ll sort it out.
