Norfolk Pine

The Araucaria heterophylla (Araucaria heterophylla) is a beautiful symmetrical tree with soft, feathery needle-like leaves arranged in perfect layers that form a dense, columnar shape. This evergreen comes from Norfolk Island, a remote location near Australia, and grows as a striking pyramidal conifer that looks like a living Christmas tree year-round.

✨ Fun Fact

Despite its common name "Norfolk Pine," this plant is not a true pine at all but rather a member of the ancient Araucariaceae family. Sadly, it has become an endangered species in its native Norfolk Island habitat due to habitat loss and introduced pests.

This plant makes an elegant statement piece for homes and offices with plenty of space, and it suits plant lovers who want a unique indoor tree that stands out from typical houseplants.
